Poetry Reading at Full Circle

Yesterday's public event, the poetry reading session at Full Circle, was almost surreal. The venue, a cosy bookshop, Full Cirlce, set the mood and the tiny, yet erudite audience (as was evident from their queries and comments on the verses) was literally, all ears. The moderator, Srilata, introduced each poet with her own personal insider's take on them before introducing them professionally, thus infusing the right dose of comfort and setting everyone at ease. When the poets took over, their renditions were rivetting, almost raw in their insight and sensitivity. The rapport with the audience was palpable, and the audience, with their questions and comments, contributed immensely to the event, making it an altogether unforgettable evening!
