It's November 1, and we've been working on the 2013 Campaign for two months. With the re-opening of the Campaign Chronicle, the 2013 season officially opens.
This year, Nithila Kanagasabai joins us as Campaign Coordinator. She comes to us fresh from TISS, where she studied communication and wrote a thesis on women in media. Before TISS, Nithila worked as a journalist, at Times NOW and then for a longer spell, at NDTV Hindu. Nithila has been working very hard to put a very substantial campaign calendar together and I am sure the results will be great!
The second member of the Campaign team (and it's hard for me to believe the team has more than one member now!) is Ragamalika Karthikeyan, who joins us as Media Associate. She will be writing for us (creating content, as they now say) and also guiding and facilitating our communications work with the mainstream media and social networks. Ragamalika is a seasoned journalist (also a Times NOW veteran) and I am already looking forward to regretting that the workload of the campaign leaves me so little time to read the good stuff. But that's what the long "off-season" is for, right?
