We're 'exploring masculinities' today, and here's a short video with the results of a study conducted by the UN in South Asia in 2013, which found that male violence against women was pervasive across Asia. Men were most likely to rape intimate partners and this largely came out of a sense of entitlement. However, as local patterns varied, it was possible to also find that not all men are violent. Context matters, the study underscored.
